Trapezius:

Origin- occipital between cervical and thoracic vertebrae
Insertion- clavicle spine and scapula
Function- moves sholder blades

Pectoralis major:
Origin- clavicle, sternum, upper ribs
Insertion- humerus
Function- push up muscle

Latissimus dorsi:
Origin- sacral vertebrae and iliac crest
Insertion- humerus
Function- pulls the sholder back and down

Deltoid:
Origin- scapula and clavicle
Insertion- humerus
Function- abduct the upper arm

Biceps brachii:
Origin- scapula
Insertion- radius
Function- synergist; flex the arm at the elbow, rotate the hand

Brachioradialis:
Origin- distal lateral humerus
Insertion- radius above the styloid process
Function- primary mover;flexes the arm at the elbow

Brachialis:
Origin- humerus
Insertion- ulna
Function- synergist; flexes the arm at the elbow

Triceps brachii:
Origin- laterial, medial humerus
Insertion- ulna
Function- antagonist; extends the arm at the elbow

Flexor carpi radialis/ulnaris:
Origin- humerus and olecranal
Insertion- carpal and metacarpal
Function- flexes, adducts/abducts the wrist

Flexor digitorum:
Origin- humerus, ulna, radius
Insertion- bases of distal phalanges tendons (fingers)
Function- flexes fingers

Extensor carpi radialis/ulnaris:
Origin- humerus
Insertion- metacarpals
Function- extends and abducts the wrist
Extensor digitorum:
Origin- humerus
Insertion- phalanges
Function- extends fingers
